Andrew is an Australian-born psychologist and executive coach with background experience in brief approaches to change, employee assistance programs (EAPs) and corporate mental health. Having coined and published the term ‘coaching hypnosis’ (2009), he is regarded as an authority on the applications of hypnosis, mental skills and self-regulation training in corporate and coaching contexts. A founding member of the International Society for Coaching Psychology, an advisor to the Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine and to the National Network of Workplace Health Promotion, his approach to change and methodology has allowed him to deliver training and coaching interventions to countries such as the UK, Austria, Romania, Italy, Russia, Germany, Iran and Bahrain. He is in an award-winning author, a conference speaker, a psychology/coaching book acquisition adviser and trainer. Andrew has been invited to be a keynote speaker at this year’s Oxford Brookes University Annual Coaching and Mentoring Research Conference. In 2020, Open University Press will be publishing his book “Brief Strategic Coaching”.
